Vodacom eSIM

DISCOVER THE POWER OF THE VODACOM ESIM

Vodacom eSIM

Vodacom eSIM marks a major move away from traditional plastic SIM cards to a fully digital solution. An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a built-in chip in compatible devices such as smartphones, tablets, and wearables, enabling you to connect up to eight virtual numbers on one device without ever needing to change a physical SIM card.

Benefits of an eSIM:

Link up to 8 virtual profiles on a single device. The same applies to international numbers.

Compared to a plastic to plastic SIM card swap, the process of an eSIM swap has a lower fraud risk.

No plastic is needed to create an eSIM as in the case with plastic SIM cards.

With OneNumber, you can share your current SIM or eSIM plan with a second device.

Currently this is not allowed as we deem it as a security risk. Customers will have to perform a SIM Swap for their own protection

For prepaid customers, unfortunately you will have to purchase a new eSIM.
